As a registered Warm Welcome Space, The Community Church will be embracing taking so-called ‘Blue Monday’ back on 20 January 2025 by giving it a colourful makeover and making it the start of our Warm Welcome Week.
We’ll be decorating our community rooms in a warming palette and have introduced a COMMUNITY COLOURING CORNER with mindful patterns for everyone to get involved in if they wish. We’ll be sharing snacks, food and hot beverages at our usual opening times.
We’ve got puzzles, and a quizz to attempt whilst you drink your brew too, or why not join the Heat & Eat team as they attempt to knit a long scarf in the Warm welcome campaign colours. If that’s not your thing, simply come along, enjoy the company and lets chase those winter blues away!

Community colouring corner bringing people together
“I suffer with autism & have a problem holding conversations with others. Today, I paid my first visit to Number One Ferry Street, and sat with a lady at the colouring corner. I was able to engage in a conversation for over an hour. Colouring whilst talking helped me stay calm, and stopped me from getting anxious. It enabled me to pay attention to our conversation.
